Happy Friday, Cardinal Families!
We started this short week with a festive Mardi Gras parade on Tuesday, where Kindergarteners Logan Nunley and Charlotte Mokry were crowned the 2026 King and Queen of St. Richard School. Wednesday we had a beautiful Ash Wednesday Mass, and I was happy to see so many family members in attendance. We finished the week strong with the 2nd grade Economic Fair, always a wonderful chance to see the creativity and ingenuity of our students in action.
The Knights of Columbus are serving Lenten fish dinners for the next four Fridays of Lent. Treat your family to our Knights' perfectly fried catfish, crispy fries, tangy coleslaw, hush puppies, and tempting dessert. The proceeds power the Knights' works of charity for retired priests, seminarians, pro-life efforts, and those facing hardship in our community. You can take a night off of cooking and purchase tickets to support this ministry here.
We wanted to give you a heads up that Lands' End is running a promo on uniforms right now. We don't know how long it will last but the code is LILY.
Class pictures are a week from Monday, on March 2nd. Look for order forms in your students' folders next week. After that, Spring break will be around the corner (the week of March 9th) and we will enter the final 9 weeks of the academic year!
