COVID-19 Information for Parents and Students
Dear Cardinal Family,
St. Richard Catholic School continues to monitor the COVID-19 situation as we plan for reopening our school. We are well aware that these are indeed uncertain times. Parents, teachers, and administrators are all trying to make the best decisions possible as we all stay committed and focused on how to best educate our children and keep everyone safe in the midst of this pandemic. One thing we can all agree on is that our children's educational needs and well-being must be our number one priority as we prepare for their educational process.
Below are the St. Richard Reopening School Guidelines 2020. These guidelines are based on the recommendations of health professionals and health organizations, as well as, input from our diocesan Office of Catholic Education and our special task force comprised of healthcare professionals, parents, teachers, and administration.
St. Richard is still planning for traditional in-class instruction, Monday through Friday from 8:00 am until 3:00 pm (Wednesday until 2:00 pm) with After School Care being provided. We are also continuing to prepare our faculty to be ready to transition to distance learning in the event we are once again forced to close.
Our Cardinal family is valuable to us and your support is vital to our success. We want to keep our family together and hope to provide a learning platform that helps everyone feel safe and comfortable. We know that there will be questions and clarification needed, and we want to hear from you. Please email me with comments, questions, and feedback.
God bless and Go Cardinals,
Mrs. Jennifer David
