White Mass Honoring Healthcare Professionals

Fr. John will celebrate a Mass for Healthcare Professionals during our school mass on Wednesday, October 18th.

White Mass is an 80-year-old tradition in our Catholic faith that honors all those who work in health care – from nurses and physicians to dietary staff and lab workers. The mass is so named for the color traditionally worn by those in the healing professions. This mass is often associated with St. Luke, the patron saint of physicians and surgeons, whose feast day is celebrated in October. It is also a way in which we can express our gratitude for sharing your gifts and spirit of compassion with us.
