Saint Richard students are required to wear official school uniforms. We are transitioning to new uniform vendors for the 2025-26 school year. Details can be found below:

When to wear:

- Only the new Lands' End Mass Uniforms may be worn in the 2025-26 school year.
- All previous uniforms (tops and bottoms) may be worn through the end of the 2025-26 school year with the exception of the plaid and the mass uniforms.
- For the 2026-27 school year, only new Lands' End (K5 - 6th) and Trotter (PreK) uniforms may be worn.

New Uniform FAQs
WHAT ABOUT OUTERWEAR?
Students may wear outwear from any year or vendor as long as it has the St. Richard or St. Joe logos.
WHAT DO THE PRESCHOOL STUDENTS WEAR TO MASS?
Preschoolers do not have a specific Mass uniform. They can wear any Trotter pieces on Mass Day.
WILL YOU HAVE AN IN-PERSON SALE FOR LANDS’ END?
Lands’ End is completely online so we will not have an in-person sale. Like most online retailers, they have a very detailed sizing guide which you can access here: Lands’ End Fit Guide. In addition, we have samples of most of the items in the office, so you are welcome to drop by and look for size reference.
CAN YOU CLARIFY THE FOOTWEAR REQUIREMENTS?
On Mass Days, girls are required to wear cable knee socks and dress shoes (Oxfords, Mary Janes, Ked sneakers, or ballet flats), in line with St. Joseph’s Mass Day footwear requirement. These shoes can be purchased from any retailer, and they do come in a variety of athletic styles, making them conducive to P.E and recess activities.
On Mass Days, boys are required to wear tennis shoes in specific solid colors (navy, gray, white or black) on Mass Days. We are not requiring boys to wear dress shoes because they do not come in low cost athletic styles, and they are not conducive to P.E. or recess activities.
On non-Mass Days, boys and girls are required to wear tennis shoes but there are no color requirements. They can wear regular socks in navy, white, or black.
WILL ST. RICHARD SCHOOL OFFER THE CARDINAL CLOSET WITH THE NEW UNIFORMS?
Yes! It will take some time to build, but we plan to open the Closet as soon as we have enough inventory to do so.
WHAT IS THE BACKPACK REQUIREMENT? DO WE HAVE TO BUY THE LANDS’ END BACKPACK?
Students may use any backpack. They are not required to purchase a backpack from Lands’ End.
CAN PRE-K STUDENTS WEAR UNIFORMS FROM PREVIOUS VENDORS?
No, all preschool students, PK3 & PK4 are required to purchase new Trotter's uniforms this year because they are a total departure from the old uniform.

Another fun fact: in an effort to help prepare our students for their bright futures, Mr. Nelson will offer each class a “tie-tying” tutorial at the beginning of the school year!
Spirit Wear
Spirit Wear is also available for sale through our school store at certain times throughout the year. Our spirit store includes StR joggers, sweatshirts, 3/4 zip-pullovers, and other items are made available through special order during the school year. Parents will be notified of special orders through social media or the school's weekly newsletter. Saint Richard school House shirts and t-shirts are permissible to wear on Fridays throughout the school year. Saint Richard Spirit Joggers and Sweatshirts are also permissible to wear on Fridays.
