Dear Cardinal Families,
Watching all of the craziness going on in the world around us, the only word that comes to mind is sad. With that being said, it reminds me of the great opportunity we have as teachers and parents to be diligent in teaching our kids how to be compassionate and loving.
Exciting News
Yesterday at 5:25 p.m., our first-grade teacher, Mrs. Johnson, welcomed her baby into the world. Her baby girl weighed 6 pounds, 11 ounces. We are so excited to celebrate this new little Cardinal and look forward to meeting her soon. Congratulations, Mrs. Johnson.

Junior Bruins Basketball for 5th & 6th Grades
We will be combining with St. Anthony to form our Junior Bruins teams, and we will play against other MAIS schools. If your child is interested in playing this season, please fill out the sign-up form using this link.
We are also looking for parent volunteers who are willing to coach a team. If you are interested, please let me know as soon as possible. Practice times will be determined once we have coaches in place. Thank you for your support.
Flag Football and Cheer for 3rd and 4th Grades
It’s time to sign up for flag football and cheer! Our games will be played at St. Joe, and a full schedule will be shared once it is finalized. If you are interested in coaching, please let me know. Practice times and game details will also be set once coaches are in place. Sign your child up here. We’re looking forward to a great season.
St. Joe will face off against Magnolia Heights tonight on their home field. I hope to see some of you there!

Diocesan T-shirt Fundraiser
The Office of Catholic Education has created a T-shirt based on this year's theme which is "Come Follow Me" John 10:27. Activities throughout the school year will center around this theme. All proceeds from the T-shirt sale will be used to provide increased professional development for our educators. Registration is open until September 15th. All t-shirts will be delivered to your school in October.
