Dear Cardinal Family,
I am excited to share the first
Cardinal Catch Up video with you all.

Please make sure you update the StR app in your app store (there was a recent update) and then go to your profile and make sure you are opted into your teacher's newsfeeds. This feature may have been reset during the recent app update.
Next, I would like to address some housekeeping items related to afternoon pick up and After School Care. It is important that everyone follow these procedures to ensure that the end of the day and carpool run smoothly and that Mrs. Brittany can plan well for ASC.
- Any time you change your regular afternoon pick up method, you must let the school know by 2:30 that day. Please call the office at 601-366-1157. If you are unable to let us know in advance, please park, text ASC and your child will be dismissed after carpool is over.
- The cut off for early dismissal is 2:30 (1:30 on Wednesdays). If you need to check your children out early, please do so before this time.
- Make sure you are texting the ASC number at (601) 991-5198, 5-10 minutes before you arrive so your child will be ready.
Next Tuesday, Oct. 1st and Thursday, Oct. 3rd, our 3rd - 6th grade students will be taking the DRC Beacon test at 8:15am. Please have your students to school on time and well rested. If your student is tardy, they will have to wait in the office until testing is complete, and make up the test another time. We sent an email out earlier this week with details.
Today is the last day to sign up to be a Cardinal Fest Family Sponsor. We are so excited to see so many families participate this year! See below for more information and to sign up. There are also more ways to get involved: we need donations and volunteers for the day of the event:
Dance Camp on October 12th registration deadline to guarantee a shirt has been extended to tomorrow, Saturday, September 28th but Registration will remain open until Camp. In addition, we have opened registration to 3rd and 4th graders. See below for more info and to register.
Last thing (and thanks for your patience, this is a busy time) please turn in your Pledge Family Form for the Capital Campaign by September 30th. These were sent home early this month. We would like 100% of our StR families to participate, whether financially or with your time. We are so grateful for everything each of you do for our school.
