Dear Saint Richard Families,
I can hardly believe we are entering the final stretch of the school year. Next week will be jammed packed:
- Class parties at 2:00pm on Tuesday, 5/21
- Awards Ceremony for 3rd-6th Grades at 9:00am on Wednesday, 5/22 (you will have gotten a separate email yesterday if your child is receiving an award)
- Last day of school on Thursday, 5/23 (60% day!)
On the last day of school - Thursday, May 23rd - Mass will begin at 10:00am followed by a reception for 6th graders in Foley Hall. 6th Graders may dismiss directly from the reception. All other students will be dismissed from the church and may be checked out from their classrooms. Carpool will begin at 12:00pm and all students will need to be picked up by 12:15pm. There will be no after school care (ASC) and no lunch served on Thursday.
Report cards will be emailed home on Thursday afternoon. All remaining balances on your account must be taken care of before report cards will be emailed.
Lastly, Sunday we will have a retirement reception for Eve Walsh after 10:30am Mass in Foley Hall. This is also when we are asking STR families to return their Capital Campaign pledge cards. Alternatively, you may bring your pledge card into the office or mail it to us. See the variety of naming opportunities available on our website. We are grateful to all those who have already pledged. Every donation will make a difference for the future of Saint Richard School.
Thank you to all of our families for contributing to a wonderful school year. It's takes a village, and I feel very blessed to be a part of the Saint Richard Catholic School village. It has been a great year.
God Bless,
Russ Nelson
